In the cozy town of Pea Ridge, Arkansas, customers of Walmart and other nearby businesses may find a cheerful note with their delivery order wishing them to “have a great day!” This small act of kindness is courtesy of Alicia Snow, an independent contractor who takes immense pleasure in brightening the day of each customer she delivers to via the Spark Driver™ platform.

Before becoming an independent contractor, Alicia was a salaried manager. She wasn’t initially sure how she would feel about transitioning out of full-time employment, but when her husband’s best friend and a family member both gave glowing testimonials about the Spark Driver platform, she decided to give it a shot.

In no time, Alicia found herself appreciating the flexibility and earning opportunity that the platform offered. The freedom to be her own boss and design her days in a way that allowed her to be fully involved with her large family and local community was a welcome change.

Alicia's day typically starts early with school drop-offs for her children. Her oldest child has to be at school by 7 a.m., followed by the younger one at 8 a.m. After the school run, she often spends her time delivering on the platform. If her children wish to have lunch with her, she can easily fit that in, offering invaluable family time in the middle of the day. After school, she picks them up, ensures they are fed and taken care of, and then often logs back onto the app to check for offers.

“Having two kids, and one that travels with sports, I needed something where I can take my kids to practices and games each week,” she said, emphasizing the flexibility that the Spark Driver platform offers.

While she appreciates the ability to earn cash around her kids’ activities like sports and horseback riding, her goal delivering on the Spark Driver app is not just financial.

In her words, “When I drop off groceries, I want customers to remember that Alicia Snow is so nice that she left a note to have a nice day. I want to make a positive impact on their lives. ‘Oh, that person was so nice to me.’”

For those considering joining the Spark Driver platform, Alicia's advice is simple: Pay close attention during the onboarding process, take your time, and engage with people. That’s how relationships are built.
