From the Philippines to Fremont, Bryan puts family first 

Change can be difficult, but it isn’t always bad. Sometimes a change of environment or meditative practice of going on a long drive is all we need to transform our lives.

Bryan Lomibao knows all about this. Bryan moved from the Philippines to the U.S. in 2010. By changing his environment, he was able to shift the course of his life and build a beautiful foundation for his family to lay down roots in Fremont, California.

Family is one of Bryan’s first priorities. However, when he is not at home, he spends his days as a full-time machinist and pump operator. He decided to explore an additional opportunity to better provide for his family when the Spark Driver™ app was launched in a zone near him. Whatever he earns from deliveries, he puts toward everyday expenses, like gas and groceries.

Bryan found out about the Spark Driver app from a group of friends who were already involved in the gig economy, and he hasn’t looked back since he started driving. He continues to make deliveries on the Spark Driver app because he truly believes it is one of the best platforms out there to earn extra cash.

He says, “If you do deliver on the Spark Driver app, it’s better than other gigs. I know this because I’ve been to other gigs. My advice is to be patient. There aren’t always orders to accept every hour, but of all the gigs that I know, this is the best for me.”

As one of the pioneers in this zone, he loves making deliveries on the road because driving is easy, and he is close to many Walmart and Sam’s Club locations.

He says, “I drive on the Spark Driver app after my full-time job if I have the chance to. I’ll usually drive for about three hours four times a week. Then I will also try to drive on Saturday and Sunday.”

He also emphasizes the importance of My Metrics as a tool for estimating the quality of the delivery service you provide.
